First Games of the 2015-2016 Season

The Soul competitive teams had a mixed weekend in their first competitive basketball games for the 2015-2016 season. Soul Ladies made an impressive debut in Division 1 of the London Metropolitan Basketball League, defeating Brixton Lady Topcats 53-36. Soul Men lost a tight 66-71 game against Stratford Royals in the LABL Division 1. Both teams showed solid platforms on which to build memorable seasons. Thanks to all our supporters!

Soul Men’s Summer League 2015

The LABL (London Amateur Basketball League) is running a Summer League as they do every year. After a good response from the players playing in the regular season we are looking to put together a team to enter this summer. The start date is 27 June 2015 with the final being played on 8 August 2015. There will be two pools made up of five teams and we would play each team in our pool once and play one team in the opposite pool also once. Soul midnight basketball is almost here! We welcome all! – no matter what your ability, come and join us in this mixed scrimmage session on the 26th June 2015 (Friday) from 7pm to midnight!! This will be the last one until the end of the summer, so get your basketball groove on and come down to the Harrow Club.

Open Run (30 May 2015)

Back by popular demand… After a successful open run last week, join us for another basketball open run this Saturday (30 May 2015) at The Harrow Club, 187 Freston Road, London W10 6TH. The session is open to everyone (all abilities, men and women) and will be from 12pm to 2pm. Cost is £4 for non-members and £3 for members.
